Furnace Transformer
I found that I needed this new transformer because my HVAC would not power on at all, the control board LED was not illuminated, 120v was being provided to the old transformer and no voltage was being output on my broken transformer 24v side. This problem was self inflected most likely because I shorted the transformer when moving my WiFi enabled thermostat without first turning off power to the furnace at the breaker box. Whoops! At least I only needed this transformer after figuring out the above with a bit of reading, YouTube research and a multimeter. The transformer install was easy on my system.
