This is a Vine review of what is described as lava “rocks”. (I do have a fair amount of cactus and succulents.) I do see that one of the photo's fine print in the listing today shows that the size of these “rocks” are 0.2"-0.35" (6mm-8mm) in size. Sorry, that isn’t a rock, that isn’t even gravel, that is “pea gravel” size, about 3/8”.The 10 lb main bag weighed in over 10 lbs, and contained two 5 lb bags. I did screen one of the two bags received with 1/4” hardware cloth and there was very little powder, so this is a very nice consistent product. Just no “rocks”! (Smily Face Here!)

These are of even color and size which makes them very nice for decorative pots. Even nicer it is said that if you mix volcanic rocks with soil it will cause plants to grow better. I have mixed some soil in pots and will be watching to see if this is true. Very pleased with these rocks. If results are good and need more I will place another order from this vendor.

I use these for my plants, to make them look nicer, to keep the soil humid, and to prevent fungus gnats. So far, it is working very well. I am happy with this product. I put a single layer down, and that seems to be enough. The size of the rocks is pretty uniform, and it's a very nice color.

The product wasn't sift or wash well, comes with a lot of dust in the package. Sizes are not uniform at all, It has not been sorted at all. some pieces can be as big as 2 cm. Priced higher amount similar products offered.
